Computer-aided learning and assessment of critical path analysis
(Started: 2004, Completed: May 2006)
Project Leader: Barrie Baker (Coventry University)

Project Summary
The project aimed to investigate the teaching, learning and assessment of critical path analysis and network modeling. The main outcomes were: the creation and development of a computer-aided program for teaching and assessment of students on large modules; and, demonstrating how students can use ordinary spreadsheet tools to construct a network model for an operational research (OR) project and how a companion computer program can be used to provide feedback or deduct marks when students make mistakes.
